Best time to go on exchange (1 Viewer)

I'm in Year 10 right now, and I was wondering when the best time to go on exchange is. Chances are I won't go this year, but if I go next year, or the year after, would it through my studies into whack, or do you learn just as well overseas?

Also, what's the ideal time to go? Or do certain programs have set times?

What are most of those times anyway? Weeks, months?

After you finish your HSC, if you get a uni offer, defer it, and go after year 12, working holiday? Or exchange in uni is fairly common.....

Why are you thinking about this so early on anyways? This is under the 'tertiary education' section.....
