That's what I would have wrote. I recall a question that was in how many ways can they be shared so that both ppl get at least one thing. Answer was 2^n - 2 and is basically the same question as in last years HSC with the rooms.

You subtract 2 because of the word "share" you can't have either people recieving all of the items.

induction for me, followed by an application of the result. I always find those ones very simple while probability questions early in the paper are always so difficult.

MECHANICS!!! yay, so good, so logical, I hate conics and I'm not sure about polynomials, I like integration too

Conics can be messy but can also be very elegant. The number one topic for elegance would have to be harder 3 unit... followed closley by complex numbers. I detest probability...

i love conics, integration, volumes + polynomials

really bad at complex nos & mechanics (last minute cramming needed)
