wat course would be considered more employable, the B economics and NSW or syd with double major in economics and finance, or B applied finance with economics at macquarie uni?

the uai cut off is roughly the same but the macquarie course is 4 years.

Employability depends on the individual - marks (irrespective of uni), work experience, extracurricular activities, personality etc. Go to open days and check out both universities to see which environment (not just campus) would suit you. One difference you pointed out is USyd would take 5 years whereas Macquarie would take 4 years - how much is a year worth to you?

yes, but its as usual a package and not just university name/marks, ie. work experience, extracurricular, personality.

what about at nsw, it says

The minimum time for completing the requirements for a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Pass level is normally 3 years full-time or 6 years part-time, unless the student is enrolled in a Co-op program in which case the minimum time for completion is 4 years full-time.

wats a co op, is that double degree?

how long would BCom (Economics and Finance, with Honours) take?

That cannot be emphasised enough. I've been to a grad recruitment interview and what uni you wen't to means pretty much jack in the context of your extracurricular activities, abilities and experience.

they won't let u do commerce in 4 years unless ure doing it part-time. That's because the max credit points is 144 and if you take the full load it's 24CP a semester = 48CP/year (mmm maths skillz). Times that by 3 and u get 144CP.
did someone say "OMG Secks?!"

is it good to double major in finance and economics,

if you work as a bank employee, like a investment banker, what restrictions are there for you to buy for urself. eg not for a client. im just wondering cause ur buying investments for banks to make profit, could u also do the same for urself?

can they also borrow money with less interest?

so does doing b economics major in finance and economics have the same job opportunities as doing b commerce major in finance and economics?
