Better of to do standard unless 97%+ (1 Viewer)

I got a uai calculator the other day and apparently...this is in 2005 but surely it hasn't changed much, but if u get 70+ in standard, your scaled mark is better than if u get 70+ in advanced.

Now for standard english ppls perhaps there arent that many ppl getting in 80s but if advanced ppl can get 80+ then surely they could ace standard thus getting a higher scaled mark

Am I missing something here?....I hope so

yes they scale the same
but due to the rarity of standard people gettin 80+, they are much better off doing advanced
but a high mark in standard scales better than a high mark in advanced, ie 85

soooo... it is true that advanced ppl would be better to do standard....unless everyone did and scaling totally changed because someone getting high band Bs in advanced could pwn standard?

i just skimmed thru this thread quickly but i agree 100% with the topic title
i got 96.95 and i did crappy standard english n got 80 for that. its so hard to get 97+ lol
