I went to the BDO in Auckland because i was on hols.
The hip hop acts were the highlight for me. Scribe, 4 corners, Footsouljahs and the streets... Mike Skinner whoever.......
Steriogram went off, everybody went crazy samE with SOAD. Most people seemed to like the Donnas, they were ok.

i saw them and i had a real good time

they have an 8 (?) person choir who do these choreographed dances, so not all of them play instruments

all i gotta say and this is without any doubt, the beastie boys set was the biggest crock of shit that i have ever witnessed at the BDO and i still cant get over the fact that they headlined!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My faves:
#1. Polyphonic Spree
#2. Beastie Boys
#3. The Hives

If anyone gets the chance to see Polyphonic who hasnt yet, DO IT, DO IT! they were so awesome...i couldnt get the smile off my face after I saw them for the rest of the day. I never thought I would see a group of people in the Boiler Room at BDO smiling so much (without taking some kind of illicit drug that it :D)

Beastie Boys were awesome too...i cant believe they are so old but act so young...they could easily pass for 20. I got on the big screen too, and they came into the D barrier and MC'd right near me...awesome.

didnt see the spree, missed it because i was wondering around looking for mates (seriously some people are incapable of following directions!) The Hives were suprisingly awesome, couldnt understand a word that Pellet said but i loved every minute of it

the beasties, didnt like it- maybe it was the fact that i was sunburnt and irritable or maybe it was the fact that their instumental lasted 15 minutes too long, the beasties set was the time for me to sit down in the D and rest up for the Chem's (who went off) overall it was an awesome day!
