^ Cause I was on my laptop.
Anywho, I solved the problem! Just did a system restore. Was extremely lucky, since I had backed up everything and was >THIS< close to wiping the hard drive and installing XP on it, then thought "Hmm, maybe this would work"... and behold!
Just posting this in case anyone goes searching for a possible solution to this in the future!
