Cheers Laz, could you change it to a space please?Lazarus said:Yes, unfortunately usernames are not yet directly portable between the forums and the wiki.
Members with underscores and special characters are going to encounter some issues.
I am happy to change your name for you (a space instead of the underscore would work). Otherwise you'll have to wait - or hope I find time to fix it tomorrow before I go overseas.
At the moment, Lazarus is attempting to fix these errors, but if you want to be able to login to the Biki now, you'd have to change your username[trent] said:Hey,
Just wondering if this will this be a prob which will be fixed or will i have to change my name to edit on Biki?
Thanks.
I don't think he can fix them.Minai said:At the moment, Lazarus is attempting to fix these errors, but if you want to be able to login to the Biki now, you'd have to change your username
Same with pH, which becomes PH, which is technically incorrect.PwarYuex said:I don't think he can fix them.
There are several constants with wikipedia articles, such as:
1. First letters of article names are ALWAYS capitalised, ie Ipod (not ipod), EBay (not eBay),
2. Underscores in the links represent spaces,
etc.

It's not picking up the underscore in my name and isn't letting me log in
Yeah, go to 'adidas', 'pH', 'eBay', etc etc on Wikipedia, and you'll see the same thing.Without Wings said:http://www.boredofstudies.org/wiki/index.php?title=PH
It automatically capitalises the name of the page
I think the admins are working on this problemThe Highwayman said:Yup, i also have the same problem.
