Binary division (1 Viewer)

If we are asked to do a binary division, and there is a remainder, say its 1011110 / 110, do we leave the answer as 1111 R 100 or 1111.10101010 repeating...

Im not sure which one to leave it as...

Im not sure which one to leave it as...
Keep in mind the majority of the marks will be given to the process of getting to the answer to show that you understand what you are doing. What form the answer is in is a minor issue.
