l'm not sure..but its under the topic Life on Earth

My guess is dot point 4..the point on the prac side. In this experiment we have to deisgn a dichotomous key.

Never had to do anything like that, interesting. Umm, did have to use snails for an assignment, but this was yr7 science so I cannot remember the purpose of the snails.

to do a dichotomous key, you need to examine an organism, especially insects, carefully in order to define their features. So yeah, It's weird, but start counting how many legs they have!

And no, i never had the good fortune to do something like that.

 *shivers* animal cruelty.... why can't u guys just get pictures of bugs n use a dichotomous key with that?? i hate having to dissect things.... specially the eyeball! omg that was toooo harsh... we got cow eyeballs and some of them still had bits of eyelid flesh and eyelashes stuck onto them!!:uhoh:

I have 10 insects now..l think it was more of a challege getting the insects.

I asked him if l would be penalised heavily if l didn't get the required number of insects (10-15) and he said yes.

I found some ones that were already dead, so l didn't feel mean about killingthem because l didn't.

a nucleotide is a sugar+base+phosphate group...

how do u do the T??
um basically connect a base labelled 'T' (make sure this base is complementary to 'A') and link this to a sugar. Now link the sugar to a phosphate... and on u go..

note that there are only 4 nucleotides in DNA, each one consisting of each of the four bases...
