Anyone working in biostatistics or know someone who works in biostatistics?

I'd like to know more about the type of work you may do on a day to day basis. And what might be some skills/training/education required of an individual to get into this area?

Most I know are associated with research centers post-doctoral..

the ones i know have maths backgrounds and PhDs but have an interest in biological simulations,.
