hmmm....yeah i was just curious...
cant be bothered to worry about it now tho! gotta get to the interview stage first

well, if i dont get into BIT, then ill do the double degree!
but if i dont even get into the double degree...im hopefully gonna get into B Business only or B(info sys/BIT) at UNSW or BBA/BIT at MACQ....

they are probly the most logical courses to do...ive read their course structures and all of them cover basically the same stuff...except B Business of course! i just wanna do it if i dont do IT....i was thinking international business

hehe my sister does Info sys...final year...i dont think she knows what she has learnt

but i reckon its just her..

ummm, macquarie is a little off-putting...after macquarie open day i kinda lost interest...macquarie in general was soooo boring...and IT faculty wasnt as impressive as UTS...it lacked "oomph"
and the building isnt comparable...

closest is Bachelor of Information Technology in Innovation - 83ish

i dont know about courses such as software engineering etc

you can still do lots of IT subjects than transfer over to full IT

You will be notified via the mail inviting you for an interview (or if you havn't been successful as well).

Dress for the occasion is business suit (or if hot, shirt pants n tie only)....

basically you don't have anything to loose, with the IT situation the way it is the university would be more desperate than usual to find good students to give scholarships to. So if you can merely impress them with some ' charm ' then you will have a good chance!

Also it is very important you know what you have written in your applications! They will questions you on what you have written, so make a photocopy before sending it in! ( if u havnt done so already)

I'm pretty sure the select after UAI comes out. They wil know your UAI.

hey bro yeah start scanning mayb next yr's class might get to see my papers

i found that the questions at UNSW were much more abstract and vague. (because they were more standardised they werent always in context) but at UTS (at least the ppl who interviewed me) 'dynamically' came up with questions that were applicable to my application..............usnw was more like :

1) Describe a situation where you were a leader.
2) Describe a situation where you overcame a challenge

etc etc they might as well just gave you the application form to fill out again....

Got mine last week monday, hopeing that they will see past my bad marks, and look at my questionnare, and especially my TAFE transcript more chances they wont care about the tafe stuff, and wont care just because of my marks...

Quite a few ppl get interviewed, there wouldnt always be a set number of ppl to be interviewed, it would depend on how good (or how bad) the applications are.

As for marks, my marks were not that good, so as long as your ranking are fairly good and consistent that should be enough to show them that you arn't a complete dropkick.
