Look, you have a partner and their family doesn't like it, find out why. First see if the reason is shared by your partner and you like to re-evaluate the relationship. However, if the family doesn't like the relationship and it's causing your partner pain, then I (which means not neccessarily you) would see to it that the relationship ends to save your partner pain. I know it's cruel, but if you truly love them, you'll make that hard decision for them. One little bit of true advice though: talk to the family members which disapprove of the relationship first, you may be able to befriend them if you use both your head and heart.
