Does anyone know much about Bond? I mostly hear criticism about it being a Univeristy for rich kids who can't get good marks but I'm quite interested in applying there...

Bond is in QLD, not far from the Gold Coast (like 10 minutes)
Since you've probably gathered, it was founded by Alan Bond...

Bond University is Australia's only privately funded, not-for-profit, independent university.

I have 2 friends at bond at the moment and my bf is starting there in september.
you can do like commerce law in 3 and a bit years there cause they work around a 3 semester year..a straight commerce degree takes 2 years

Actually although it is a school for rich kids it commands a very very high teaching quality with extremely low student teacher ratios. (11 students to 1 teacher). Has the highest ranking in student salaries, top ranking in student employment (although this could be due to the rich parents) and student satisfaction. From my understanding talking to academics it is one of the only universities in Australia to be classed in the same ranking group as Harvard. (no that doesn't mean it is as good as harvard byut that it is considered very good)
