yer when finding the root i can be fuked using de'Marled (??) therom, i no that they roots when on a graph form a circle and are of equal angular distance apart
ie z^4 - 1=0
z1= 1
z2=w=i
z3=w^2=-1
z4=w^3=-i
its so easy when u graph them... n i dont have 2 do nething in physics for projectile motions cos u do it more in depth in 3u n 4u in calculus in the physical world. god that is easy it 2u... but no it 4u

be aware that this "w, w^2, w^3, ..." thing only applies to the roots of 1 (doesn't apply to -1, i and any other number in the complex field)... I'm quite sure of it.

Hmm... if I'm not mistaken (and probably I am mistaken) someone once said in this forum that they can't penalise you for using maths in physics but they can for using physics in maths. But what's hard about physics methods anyway? For me they're really the same thing.

physics formulae automate the integration process, hence if you do it manually in phys(maths method) it's fine, but the reverse (phys in maths) is not alright.

Onli prob is I can't remeber the phy formula's, without look at the back of the test for the formulas , but I actually remeber the maths method.

It is because of your lack of practice at the physics things. If you use them often you will find you remember the formula and the values of the constants.

Also you will learn at least partially the atomic masses of elements and their standard potentials in chemistry.

Physics involves ALOT of maths, especially cosmology, and the string theory, lots of maths there

Just remember that simple tasks such as calculating the value of "1 + 1" actually require some maths knowledge and skills.

Nah, seriously though, I don't mind physics if its theory, infact they should make the whole course theory but I get annoyed when I see maths in "non-maths" subjects such as phy and eco. Obviously 2 periods a day of maths is not enough.

im the only person in my class not doing physics...is that a bad thing?
