i've got this program which has a thingy on the task bar, and all u need to do is drag the word to it, and it tells u the meaning.

There's also another app that I have seen, you highlight the word and right-click or it may have been hover over the highlighted word, and it provides a definition.

Maybe it was for Vietnamese/translation software, but it was pretty cool. Highlight a word, hover your mouse over it and it'll tell you the meaning or synonym, no need for dragging.

Maybe I'm confusing the two, but I can't remember the title of the software package/app, sorry.

I like dictionary.com, it's nice and fast - does the job.

I haven't used Encarta since Encarta 1997 or something! LOL

i'm not sure LOL! i only took the bos logo image that Mark gave me, and then just added some minor effects.
