i think it would be 1 uniquie hit, and about 4-5page views

to be honest i dont know what hitwise measures!

The best way would be for everyone who has cable to download Opera and set it on auto refresh on the BOS main page and leave it like that for a couple of days

i dunno... most cable ppl have static ips

Hitwise is a pretty big company, it would be pretty hard to extort the system.

the only way i see is to do it manually

Does it only measure the front page or any page in the site.

Cause I normally skip that and go straight to the forum address.

yep so i would expect more this year, but that was the most of all the days last year.

I believe Hitwise counts all URLs containing 'boredofstudies.org'.

what was the boredofstudies up against??? like what other well know sites are like this. what are the others as they could be of good help as well. no use just using one when u can use many

i mean, uni students would just use their uni library woudn't they?
not if they are already going to uni in the city and their library didn't have the books they wanted. and also, the general public of syd would access that website
