I can still remember my Modern History quotes word for word...

"Despite the veneer of efficiency, it is clear that the Third Reich was a bedlam of rival hierarchies, competing centres of power and an ambiguous chain of command" - DG Williamson

I suppose it'll make for some interesting chit-chat if I ever meet some latte socialist intellectual types in an artsy-fartsy coffee shop.

But otherwise, yeah, my memory has turned to shit following the HSC.

Don't ask me any questions on the HSC.. i've forgotten the intricate details of it. I can only remember stuff like the topics and a vague outline.

I still remember quite a bit of stuff. Certainly many quotes and details of english texts, events in ancient history etc.....
I still know the economics course of by heart, every last detail of it <3 <3

Beyond that, yeh ive forgotten much of it as most of it was learnt by cramming which put the information in my short-term memory.

I've forgotten how to find the first derivative of simple functions. I mean like y=x² simple. No idea.

For all I know, a mole is a furry creature that you hit with a bat for fun.

I've gone back to thinking radiation is green glowing stuff from cartoons

My only knowledge of Ancient Egypt now comes from "The Mummy" movies (which are very accurate...)

However, I can still remember,

Meantime we shall express our darker purpose. Give me the map there. Know that we have divided our kingdom into three, and it is our fast intent to shake all cares and business from our age, conferring them on younger strengths, while we unburdened crawl toward death.

I also still know precisely why it is that Amy Heckerling added, included and left out certain elements of Jane Austen's Emma when she composed Clueless.

I think this thread should serve as a testament to the fact that the HSC is for the most part intellectual wankery.

Well then you're the king of all masturbation. Plus that's mainly in the humanities.
Hahaha, I'm honoured to accept the post.

I hear the sciences have turned to shit too...

What do I remember about HSC?

1. "Travel, change, interest, excitement", one word exclamation used by Toad to express his positive attitude toward the concept of physical journey ---> ESL
2. Daun di Atas Bantal is a good movie, especially because I don't have to analyse it =) ---> IBS
3. Chemistry is hard >.< but cramming works, though not as maximum as I wish it would ---> Chem
4. Gravity? GMM? Relativity? Electricity? ---> Physics
5. ??? ---> Maths ext1+2

Okay, honestly! What do I remember????????????????

Should use my brain before the uni starts in Feb, otherwise I will be troubled....

Most of the stuff I learnt I reckon is just gone, and my writing, which was never beautiful in the first place, now looks like something the dog dragged in--lack of practice...hmmm...should start practising again before uni...

LOL.

My brain has seriously turned to mush ever since the HSC.

Not only have I forgotten just about everything I studied for the HSC I also have a much shorter attention span than before and I actually do believe that I am thinking at a slower rate. :uhhuh:

I'm so sToOpEeD now.

It's OK at the moment whilst there's no school to be worried about but when uni starts up I'm going to be in trouble.

I can't really remember quotes from English, legislation/cases for legal studies and stuff for SOR1, but I think my memory of economics and maths is still fairly good. Which is kind of good because I'm going into B com or B eco next year
