oooh i want to watch it but it doesnt seem worth paying 12 bucks to go and see it...it seems more like a video/DVD kind of movie

i did like the movie, sometimes you sick of watching cruelty and killing eg "hotel rwanda", "saw", and want to relax.

It's pretty good. My cousin managed to grab it on DVD while she was overseas. Funny and good. The only part which I thought was very sad and gay were the english songs. It just doesn't suit the movie. The hindi song at the indian wedding was good but all the english songs were just so sad. I mean, three girls walking down the street shopping and suddenly they break out into a song. Sure, it's alright but only when sung in hindi not in English with all the tabla and stuff.

ill say it once ill say it a thousand thousand thousand thousand times....i loved kholi..and his laugh...and his jacuzzi with super jets... i love the line where the mother is pressureing lalita to marry him
"i'll never speak to you agian if you don't marry him"
and anupam kher's like

Everyone is damn right that it is nothing like Bend it Like Beckham. I am a person who watches a lot of Bollywood movies, with bollywood songs, with bollywood actors. BUt P&P was different, It is a bollywood movie, with majority bollywood actors, singing western songs, i don't know how that works. If anyone knows please enlighten me...

the funniest (yet possibly grossest thing) in the film was when the guy that lalita's mother wants her to marry (mr collins in P&P i forget what his name is in B&P) is in this dream sequence and he's on the bed in his undies and singlet. he's on is front then back and then spreads the legs. I had to block my eyes! so gross....
