I am planning to do "Essentials of Chemistry 1A - CHEM1011" http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/courses/2011/CHEM1011.html, but I didn't do chemistry in Year 11 or 12 (Don't really like chem), is it highly recommended that I do a bridging course?
I am overseas right now so I can't make it back in time for the bridging at either UNSW or USYD (are they the same?), can I teach myself using the bridging course handbook from USYD http://firstyear.chem.usyd.edu.au/bridging_course/handbook.html , is it enough for CHEM1011??
I emailed the science faculty about it and they recommended me doing "Introductory Chemistry - CHEM1001" http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/courses/2013/CHEM1001.html but most of my stage 2 science courses need at least CHEM1011, I almost feel like I am spending one more semester for no reason
Please tell me what you think!!
