Haha nah there's a diff between TSP and SSP, maths has both. I'm hopeful for SSP, but kinda doubting it atm, while TSP is beyond my grasp:S

i doubt it... subjects open to adv sci is open to sci students...
According to the UAC guide, they do, esp at UNSW. What's the point of having two different B science courses when they have the same subjects, etc? There are astericks next to the subjects in the UAC guide that are only studied in the advance course.

what i think xiao menat was..you don't have to be an adv sci student to study the subjects that adv sci students can study.
If you're a normal BSc student then you'll have to have the necessary prerequisites along with the marks to do the adv subjects

I think those are majors that have only advanced streams. However, a good BSc student may be able to study some advanced subjects from the start, so that they'll be able to do those majors in later years.

BTW, USYD Maths does have both SSP and TSP. In SSP, you get one extra lecture/seminar covering additional material not available elsewhere in 1st year courses. In TSP, you have the choice to do 2nd/3rd year courses while you are still in 1st year.
