Admittedly my knowledge of poetry is pish, but this sounds interesting. Too bad I live in Wollongong.. definitely not staying at UOW next year.

I'm not an arts student but I do enjoy "artsy" sort or films (if thats how you want to describe them).

Film festivals and small production developed movies, love them all.
- My Summer of Love, Somersault, and foreign films (especially those weird Japanese ones).
But I only heard of Bukowski yesterday when I read it in the paper, would be interesting if I knew who he actually was first.

I think not, good riddance to that rep system, markmooks and Atticus' ballooning ego.

I watched this movie. It was hilarious. Not so much a biography/movie, but more of a documentary. Lots of stuff about all the chicks in his life and childhood. A few riveting readings of his poems - 'the genius of the crowd' really really touched me.

There was this hilarious clip where Bukowski's sitting there shirtless (i think?) with a bottle of Heineken going: "Mickey fucking mouse? Who is this fucking three fingered freak? What the fuck is wrong with the children of today etc etc."

I think it's sad how they're closing down Valhalla.

P.S. it's whiterabbit at uni on bfs account. I miss BOS. Vogue forums suck. I spent too much money on eBay because i have nothing else to do online.
