alright ill go through what ive done.

i opened the winrar, opened the thing and extracted the ONLY file there. the .iso file

now obviously :p i have to burn it... but when i burn the image onto DVD, nothing is on the DVD although it has clearly burnt something... no cd-drive reads it..

am i doing somethin wrong or do i have to tick some option?

No, open the .iso with winrar and have a look inside.

Usually if there is only an .iso there it might be just a compressed thing

Some programs actually compress in .iso format rather than .zip or .rar

Just checking if its one of them :)

oh ffs... there is NO .cue file.

it is JUST the .iso file.

i have burnt .cue and .bin files before.. but this .iso file has to go to do with a dvd image and im enquiring how to burn that onto disc that contains the data on it

Did you try mounting it with Daemon tools and copying it from there?

he's got no idea.. i told him to get it for me :)

I can mount it.. but i don't get why i have to mount it and burn it?

is there a difference to just burning it than mount/burn?

Mount it and then use the virtual drive as source for clone cd/copy cd in nero is what I meant.
I guess its just another way of burning if selecting the iso in Nero doesn't work.

You're sure everything else burns fine right? Could be just your burner..
