There are lots...

Do you want to copy (in which case you'll need a DL burner and lots of dosh to buy blanks)?

Compress and copy (save dosh)?

Rip and watch in VLC/DiX?

Burn avi, etc etc files to DVD and play them in your DVD player?

no it isnt, it puts crappy messages at the front of your dvd and ruins the structure, doesnt let you remove french audio tracks etc.

get "dvd-shrink" and its free, and not illegal if you use it with your legally owned discs.. or something, dont delete this post!

DVD Shrink is the best...it can compress a dual layer to a single layer with a minimum of quality loss...and you can delete useless stuff like extra languages etc,

you can "backup" all your dvds with ease
