Well, other than Qantas, here are some Australian global businesses (or partially Australian anyway):

Westfield - Has property divisions in the US and they are the largest retail property group in the world: http://www.westfield.com/corporate/about/

News Corporation - Largest media company in the world, although they are in the process or have already reincorporated into an American company: http://www.newscorp.com/index2.html

BHP Billiton - "BHP Billiton is the world's largest diversified resources company": http://www.bhpbilliton.com/bb/home/home.jsp

Other global businesses could include:

Singtel - Owns Optus
Wal-Mart - Largest retailer in the world, has significant manufacturing operations in China
Tesco - Large European retailer
Banks - Such as ING, HSBC, Credit-Suisse, Ernst & Young (merchant bank IIRC) aswell as some aussie banks; NAB, ANZ
Oil companies - DutchShell, BP, ChevronTexaco (Owns Caltex) etc all operate globally in both resources and sale of end products

Thats all I can think of atm, but I hope it helps!
