Business Studies OR Society & Culture?? (1 Viewer)

I need to drop one of these subjects but im not sure which one.
I find the content in Business Studies extremely dry, while SOC&C is quite interesting, however i don't ant to have to do a PIP

What is better in terms of UAI?
Whis subject is harder?

Hey,

Hmm, Both Business Studies and SOC do not scale extremely well, so I don't think scaling is something you gotta worry about. If you're topping a subject, the negative scaling doesn't affect much anyway. Just do whatever you enjoy the most, but honestly to drop a subject because of not wanting to do a major project is not a really good reason. Well, just my $0.02.

Drop Society. There's so much work to do in that subject, not to mention that bloody PIP. Business is not hard on the brain, it's easy to remember and doesn't require much study and revision in order to ace.

It comes down to what you are planning to do for your future!
If you want to do something in business..you are going to need that or legal studies.
S&C i heard is really boring..but it depends on the person
my friend changed 2 weeks into term 1 from business studies to S&C but she likes that kind of thing
so yeah depends what you want to do for your future more than anything

Keep SaC it is one of the best subjects! I heard business is to to boring so keep SaC and the PIP is meant to be fun.

if it were me, i would drop business. S&C is a really good course. But as said before drop whichever you enjoy least.
