do you have to have studied commerce in year 9 and 10 in order to study business studies in year 11 and 12?

no. My head teacher said no. Nothing is a prerequisite for Year 11 studies. You'd have to only get good marks in year 9 and 10 maths, english and science to do some courses.

Yep. That's true. About half of my classmates didn't do commerce last year.

But it will certainly help.
