Blazey said in the tues 2pm that detailed instructions will be posted on thurs. She put them up on an overhead to copy down; I got the general gist of it, but it should be up today/tomorrow....

Ms Blazey said:
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CARRYING OUT THE CONTRACT EXERCISE.
This is a very simple contract.
You must undertake the following: -
• Put in the names of the parties. Bloggs and company and Mah and Company
• Put in the date
• Repeat the names of the parties and their addresses
• Under the title whereas you are to state the following-
The lessor Bloggs and Company rents the premises at shop 1 Railway Parade to Mah and Company
Both parties agreed that an awning should be erected over the shop
Both parties agree it is beneficial to each of them
The lessor has agreed to pay for the erection of the awning.
• Under the word agreement you are to write the following using the numbers supplied
1 The colour of the awning
2 The size of the awning
3 Where the awning is to be attached
4 Indemnity
Put in a clause that states the lessor must insure the awning and that the lessee twill not be responsible for maintaining the awning
5 Costs
The lessor will pay $4000 for the erection of the awning. In consideration of the awning the lessee will pay an extra $10 per week rent for the awning.
6 Assignment
The lessor will not assign ownership of the awning to any other person
7 Notice
All letters or notices must be sent to the lessor in connection with the awning
8. You can put your own terms here
9. You can put your own terms here
• Finally sign the contract
Unfortunately, when you try and piece these instructions into the contract provided it doesn't help much...

Attached below is my finished contract. Please don't just print it out and hand it in; by downloading such document you agree that you will change all areas which have not been specifically set out in the above instructions (which are also included in the .doc). In consideration you, the end-user/downloader agree to provide whatever services or gestures is felt reasonable.

:D

The little bugger put the instructions at the end of the download, no wonder I couldn't find it (I downloaded it ages ago).

Don't worry I have no intention of pinching your exercise.

Thanks heaps for the instructions Skittled! :)
