im just saying, we all think this is so wrong, because of the way we have been conditioned...

its ethnocentric, noone takes into account that they truely believe their God has told them to do this, and that they are doing the right thing

I'm all for tolerating and being understanding of other cultures, but there has to be a limit. Religion is not an excuse for murder.

I agree that understanding the cause of such actions might provide useful insight into resolving the conflicts and preventing it from happening in the future, but when examining the outcomes of terrorism I'm not really sure that the motivation is of extreme relevance. The families of those who have died in such acts are unlikely to care that these individuals were on a mission from god, and rightly so, at least in my opinion.
