hey i got a question about the CA program, like how does it work?

do you need to:
1. complete required subjects
2. get work experience, then
3 start CA program

or do u just start the program after you've done the subjects?

also, how long is the work experience?

In brief, the CA program consists of 5 modules (could change for 2007). The first module can be started after only 2 years of a accredited uni course (but is not recommended) and the rest rely on the first module and some work experience (I think 9 months or something at least). Most people will do their first module towards the end of their first year of working and then go from there. Some companies pay for the program and so they usually tell you when to do it.

1) i only came here becoz the CA site was going around in circles, and never gave me a definitive answer about things such as work experience. they're more concerned about collecting fees.
2) you only posted a link. if you knew about it, then maybe you could've explained.
3) you go to macq, and u're on the unsw forums...

if you look hard enough, it is all there. your post indicated, "i cbf, just tell me". do you think everyone had it explained to them. i am not obliged to explain anything if i dont feel like it. the fact is that i've got the 3 steps infront of me right now, i just could not be bothered finding it at that time. i don't need to waste my precious seconds if i don't feel like it. (truth being, i am too busy studying for my cement mixing course)

just think of the CA program as an post-grad course

also, how long is the work experience?
right now, its one year under a CA
