Accounting would be heaps easier than finance to find a cadetship in. I heard from a past uni student who did the same majors as you that it was virtually impossible to get a cadetship for finance but relatively easy for accounting.

i am 90% sure one of the places i went to was Hall and Chadwick. i had a thin medium height woman interview me when i went....

i might have been accepted. but i never found out because i rejected them.

i pretty much repeated what they asked me in my first post, i think.

but that isnt saying i was accepted. :D

i rejected before i was told if i was excepted or not, i did this for 2 firms.

anyways, i would always think of cadetships as something i should have tried...but oh well...

Well, you can always still try. Doesn't your uni have a traineeship/cadetship noticeboard or website? It should be updated regularly :)

hey seriously if ur doing a commerce degree the best thing u can do is get a traineeship, or a job relating to ur degree

coz i can tell u guys that graduates with no exp in their degree find it so hard to get a job after uni.

speaking from experience.......do urselves a favour , even if u guys dont get a cadetship , at least a full or part time job in commerce.

went to interview , listen, talk, act really professional, ask a few questions bout the company, u just hv to kno the right things to say and how to say it
