If you're going to criticise islam because of the prophet Mohammed, you should also take a look into the first testament christian God. It's my understanding that muslims worship Allah (god), not Mohammed.

The OT God is the same as the Muslim God, in case you haven't grasped the concept of an Abrahamic religion properly yet.

i wasnt aiming at clustering all christians together, but if australia was to base its immigration policy on whether religious groups hate other groups, then we might as well ban, not just religious immigration, but religion completely from australia(which is ridiculous)

Yeah ban Hindus, Buddhist, Catholics if those people tried to blow up Australian cities and tried to create their own Catholic, Hindu , Buddhist state in Australia which they never did. Just for your information i've heard of many stories of priests sexually molesting little children just for the pleasure of it. On the other hand the only reason the prophet muhamad married this girl was becuase, she was very clever, and she'l be able to learn all the islamic rules, guidlines, and the quran and its interpretation. Whenever anything new was reveiled to the prophet about islam, he would directly teach it to her. After the prophet died, she was the one teaching everyone about islam, and passing her knowledge and what the prophet taught her to everyone. Every male or female who had questions regarding islam went to her to teach them.

Just to point out, its very relevant. Mohammed was a man and he is honoured for revealing the Islamic religion. He is not honoured for ridding the world of rape, abortion, paedophelia, incest, any taboo subjects. Being a Muslim is about devoting yourself to God, not to Mohammed.
