i wonder if i didn't perform well in the school assessments and trial, but perform excellent in the hsc exam, how would UAI be counted? because my friend didn't do well in the school assessment, but she did pretty well in the hsc, and she got 83, so i am just bit confused about it.

Say you get 62 in english as your internal mark but get a 85 in your hsc exam, bos will give you the average, which would be 73.5 - and from there scaling will take place - which will give you you're final uai. Does that explain it?
