Some say the world will end in fire;
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

What I think of the meaning of the poem is:
Fire means anger, hatred
Ice means desirer and wanting.
Desire and hate is the two strongest emotions in the human race, and can be very deadly when you combine the two.
Fire is occurs when someone wanting to get back at a person because they have done something wrong to another.
Ice is cold and freezing it means that the desirer can cause one to turn against each other for the desired presence for example a story by the famous Shakespeare, Macbeth wanting a throne so he goes and kill king Duncan who was known for his kindness to his troops.

can someone tell me what they think of the poem plz

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

what i think:
It symbolises the outcome of the choice is “unknown and its not possible to tell unless you travel in the one you have chosen.
Both roads offer opportunities. He would like to travel both but he knows he has only one choice, which is going to affect his life. And forget about the other one.
In life you only get to make one choice, you cannot take all two. The road is long to the destiny; it has lots of obstructions and blockages in the way. Nevertheless, you will learn from the blockages that are in your way and the experience is helpful to your final destination.
I shall be telling this with a ‘sigh’ often suggests sadness, longing or regret but in this poem, it suggests it was relief that he has chosen the correct road and tiredness.
There are many important decisions that we as human have to make in our lives when we reach a certain age. We must make a fundamental choice, which means some choices that we make will shape our lives.
