Can anyone help?Proposal/ choosing investigation question (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum thingy but it seems awesome. I seriously haven't done any work on my proposal these holidays so i'm kinda screwed. Is anyone doing NEFERTITI? Cos i've gathered info but can't come up with an actual INVESTIGATION QUESTION...can anyone help?

Also our teacher hasn't said much about the proposal, so i don't know what that involves either!

what aspect of nefertiti u examining? otehrwise its hard to help..just rember your looking into the DEBATE not teh history itslef...thats soemthing alot of the people in my class forgot and their marks suffered as a result!

guys just remember that if its on the syllabus for another subject you cant do it as your research project i dont think

it cannot overlap -significantly-. It is marked internally, and therefore it is at the teacher's discretion. Ask your teacher, he/she will clarify to what extent it overlaps if at all.

secondly, as i have said a number of times (and i find i am gettin sick of saying), read books, watch documentaries and contact acedemics with regard to an area you have interest in already or you are intested in or even one you have knowledge in already.

that is the best advice you cant get.

yeah, green appletini, u have to be more specific about what ur finding BEFORE u even think about formulating a question!! u have to look round and find books, videos, ANYTHING to increase ur knowledge of the general topic area THEN start narrowing it down. obviously u cant do this if u have no knowledge of the topic whatsoever and just want to immediately pull a question out of thin air...

it would be a good idea if searched for background info on nefertiti first, and then narrow down which aspects about her you find most interesting and place ur focus question on that.
i'm doing her in class atm.. perhaps something about her political role in egypt? that is quite interesting, esp in relation with akhenaten...
