Hm, in any subject at Macq the work is pretty constant, keep up and you'll do fine.
Personally I don't keep up and leave it till last minute like I did HSC, but it doesn't seem to be working as well, lol. Although the course doesn't seem too hard at all.

We don't get studyvac or anything so people think its really quick between lectures and then suddenly exams, but yeah that's the way it is, we get extra other holidays.
so exams for each semester or there are mini exams too? ekek...i used to hav this bad behaviour of leaving my assessments to the last minute....i must change it now...LOL....uni is more serious and lots of self studying rite...ekek~~
oh...so there are two semesters rite? with 13 weeks? or different?

Final exams, class tests, online quizzes, assignments .. you name it, we've got it =p

Yeah it's two sems with around 13-14 weeks, I can't remember (after about week 10 I start shitting myself about exams and don't pay attention anymore). To me, uni somehow seems less serious because you get random breaks in between and things and doesn't feel like school where you HAVE to do work.

....Of course that just tricks you and you always have to do work. Don't leave it to last minute, I always get four things due at once or something retarded like that, and this keeps on happening until exams -_-

Anyway, pretty much everyone still leaves things to the last minute. Just getting to you early so you can be the one who laughs at other people then kindly share your work to the poor sods who have no idea what they're doing.

Edit: Sleeptime =p
Night all

Well advised.

But it's odd that they only teach you the stuff you need towards the end of semester anyway.

And laughing at poor sods isn't nice. =p

Econ is based on writing yeah, but its not a full-HSC-English-type essay, and you get to draw unusually large graphs to take up space. Not that it's advised. Hehe. For final Econ exams, you get something like three long answer questions where you write about 3-4 pages each, and multiple choice etc.

Do the high UAI people get their offers early? I thought it was super special people only, like the only people I knew who got their offer prelim rounds was diplomats daughters and things. Hm. Oh well.

For Micro it was something like 3-4 pages including diagrams, and a MC section. It's manageable.
