Can I cross lines in a Food Web?? (1 Viewer)

I had an assessment a few weeks prior and one of the questions was to draw a food web. Easy enough. I got it back this week and i saw red pen circled over one line and they wrote 'don't cross lines over'. While i wasn't marked down for this, we were never told we couldn't cross lines over and I've seen plenty of in-class diagram where some cross over.

In the HSC, would i be marked down for crossing lines in a food web???

Pretty sure you dn't need to ever draw a food web in the HSC so don't worry about that

But in general it's totally fine to cross lines, it makes it look a bit more messy but it's not wrong, idk what your teacher is on about

Food webs are only in prelim as far as I know.

You are allowed to cross lines..for some scenarios it would be nearly impossible. Just dont forget to do arrows from one trophic level to another respectively for each food chain.
