Eng (Adv) Rank: 24/33 (trial mark was 74/105 which was above average + aligns to I think 85-86)

School's average lies 80

Now my que, if I manage to maintain a similar (or better) result for the externals, is it possible for me to scrape 80 as the overall mark, assuming internals will pull me down heaps? (I'm not sure how big the relative gap is) (need to get b5 so I get bonus points via HSC plus)

Study hard and smart AND NOW! Send practice responses to your teachers, hassle the f out of them. Memorise DISTINCT quotes for all the texts you're studying, never give up. Band 5 in English is very much real even in your position.
