i wanna transfer from a top 10 selective to a better one, basically what im asking is can my current school prevent me from doing so? i got in trouble quite a bit in year 7 cause i was being bullied and other stuff, and i had told my year 7 friends(they turned on me) that i wanted to transfer schools. i wanna transfer so badly but im scared that my current school will just say to the better school that im a bad person and stuff and they shouldnt let me transfer. should i just tell the school that im transferring to about the whole situation or would that affect my chances of getting in? sorry if this all sounds weird it's hard to explain without oversharing. also im in year 8 rn

they can't stop you per se but if you have a suspension, past expulsion or record of violent or disturbing behaviour that can be passed on in some way via a record im pretty sure. basically prob not applicable to you but it has to be a really serious issue to be passed on and affect your chances of moving
