Cant reformat WTF!!!1!1 (1 Viewer)

trying to reformat and install windows xp. when it goes to the part where the files are being copied it says : "CANT COPY THE FILE: RANDOM_NAME".

i tried different cd's, different versions of xp, different drives. STILL GET THOSE RANDOM CANT COPY ERRORS. its the cant copy error is for a different file everytime. and when i skip it i get more cant copy errors. WTF!!!111!!!! i reformat my other pc with no problems. i even tried the drive from my other pc all to no aval.

help would be greatly apreciated.

EDIT:i wasted about 2 hours on google with NOTHING!

Sounds like a problem I had when my RAM was fucked, so try replacing the RAM and seeing if that works.

If not its most likely a HD problem.

i had the exact same problem, and i only fixed it by replacing the RAM
