My email hasn't been working lately and I havent been able to see If i have received any mail from Captain Pi regarding our raw marks. Can somebody tell me if they have recently received a email from him?

In the email he sent everyone when he sent off the application he mentioned he was going away for a while, also (IIRC) that we probably wouldn't know until mid-late February.

I sent the application requesting your raw marks on the 28th of December.

The Board acknowledged this application on January 5 but has not made a determination.

Section 18 of the Freedom of Information Act 1989 (NSW) provides:

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 1989 - SECT 18


…

(3) An application shall be dealt with as soon as practicable (and, in any case, within 21 days) after it is received.

So they should have a determination made by the end of this month (if they're not naughty ).

LOL lets see their excuses if they don't get it on time. 'Dealt with doesn't mean the decision has to be made blah blah blah only the process must be underway' or something lol... I hope you guys find out, I wish i realised how easy it would have been to do earlier...would have been nice to know what my speaking exam marks were

It would have been a highly inefficient and obscure method of embezzlement.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 1989 - SECT 60

A notice that an agency or Minister is required by this Act to cause to be given to a person:

…

(b) shall, if it is served by means of a letter, be taken to have been given to the person at the end of the fifth day after the letter was posted to the person.

So this could be a legitimate timeline: 5 Jan + 21 days determination time + 5 times postage margin => 31 January I should have received something.

I promise I'll let you know the day I get the determination.

I'll just make the suggestion here: Captain Pi, would you mind posting here if you have sent a group email out as that means if anyone hasn't recieved something they will know. Otherwise some of us might not get emails for one reason or another and not know that something's up.
