the voltage required is 0.78

but the actual calculated voltage, straight from the table should be -0.78, so that it is not sponteneous. if it is than u gotta reverse the cathode equation of copper. but dun u have to reverse the anode equation of iron as well?

but is this like all reversed and stuff. like in galvanic cells u reverse the anode emf. so maybe for electrolysis u reverse the cathode emf...? :rolleyes:

woops, didnt see the electrolytic part...
thats stupid they didnt draw a power-source?
I thought it was acting like a battery
