Do we need an extensive range of case study references for trials and hsc?

To get the top marks, it is essential that you use various case studies when answering a question. Most students often come into an exam knowing at least one business very well while supplementing this with additional examples which you should be able to refer to off the top of your head. I do recall at least one exam question in either my trial or HSC where it explicitly asked for case studies referencing.

You would do well to properly understand a minimum of one.

This.

Also it is best to choose a large company (Like McDonalds, Coke etc) not only because it is easier but you can use that company for many examples

Yes, HSC and trial markers like people who incorporate an example of a business into the second extended response question I heard. Its not necessary or compulsory, but you should remember one to impress the markers.

(Not the 1st extended response, that case study is already provided).
