anyone doing the effect of rome on the provinces? i have to do my case study for the half yearlies next week and ive been looking through my notes and i just dont see how we've done enough in class to write an essay....?!
could anyone give me a few pointers?

sorry i cant help you because im also confused with my case study (anyone doing the Aztecs and Spanish conquest?)..."History is about the search for truth via a particular perspective". Discuss this statement in regards to two historians perspectives on two dot points from syllabus. how confuzzling! xx

i don't know if this will help, but i hope it does =)
1) for the case study try and make notes under headings of the different historians and their perspective on each of the dot points in the sylabus
2) in these notes discuss the historian's perspective, background, context, purpose, evidence etc
you'll find essay writing relatively easy once you sort out your info

silly Q but is an author the same as a historian? like any author of a book on the Aztecs would they be a historian?

for your purposes yes, you'll usually refer to the author as the historian
