Does anyone know the passwords for the programs that ship with Casiio calculators? I'm interested in seeing how these actually work.

You might be better off posting this in the General Maths forum. That's where a lot of the users will be.

If you go to the Casio Educational website, you might be able to get a few pointers there. http://www.casioed.net.au

wow I'm following airie's tracks, anyway if you are bored....

If you have a CASIO fx-82MS calculator, press [7], [SHIFT] and [ON] simultaneously.
This passcode apparently opens up the diagnostics.

Press [SHIFT] to undergo LCD display checks to make sure when you display a number a segment isn't missing, so a 7 isn't a one.
With each press of
[SHIFT]

Half the entire LCD is displayed
The other half will be displayed
0 will display in the lower display and the exponential and indices display.
and so on until 9 ...

To check all buttons work after completing display checks, press these in order:

[SHIFT]
[ALPHA]
[MODE]
on replay button
[UP] on replay button
on replay button
[x-1]
[nCr]
[Pol(]
[x3]
[DOWN] on replay button
[a/b/c]
[√]
[x2]
[^]
[log]
[ln]
[(-)]
[0 ' '']

You should have pressed 49 buttons at least.

On my calculator it displays "35-018 OK", something like "4 OK"
should appear, return to normal mode by pressing [ON]
