Can't say I'm a huge fan of casual. But if you can successfully disconnect emotions from the act itself, then I don't see a problem. Sex is only as meaningful as you want it to be.

Um, yes there are. Probably more than you realise. And I fail to see why there's a problem with that, or why it's somehow humourous. Casual sex isn't everybody's cup of tea, and that's entirely understandable.
