how do i change the size of the pics i have on my computer so they'll fit into the avatar?

there r millions of ways to do this
for example in fireworks

go to image - resize or sth
image size - 80 x 80 pixels or wotever
save

yeah, i was trying paint but it wont work! and then when i come back to the pic the colour is all crap

hmm.. there are millions of programs available which simply resize pics (generally use a copy just in case you fk up :))

google it. i'm too lazy to :D

This board is annoying-on some other types of message boards like Proboards all you have to do is type in the size you want in your profile, and it automatically changes it for you. And most boards allow a larger size avatar too.:(

okay, iambored, do you have Office XP? there should be a little program called "MS Photo Editor" in there (well in my Office XP anyway). Just open it, and resize image, 74x74 pixels, select 'smoothing' and presto!

if you got jasc paint shop pro
image --> resize

in photoshop
image --> imagesize

can anyone tell me how u resize a gif with animation? I find that resizing gif's with animation is impossible... I got photoship btw

you can also use animation shop 3... it comes with paint shop pro... and its great for editing animations...

and i resized mine with gif
although sometimes gif makes the pictures slightly blury

Alternatively if you got paintshop pro there is an "Animation Shop 3" which you can use to make and re-size your own gifs.
