im sorry, i know this has probably been asked 10 times over but how do i go about changing from a commerce-accounting degree to commerce-marketing ?

Hey also in regards to this i put in my transfer thing last tuesday it has been a week does anyone how long it takes for it to go through because i need to choose my subjects! haha

isnt a change from [commerce - accounting] to [commerce - marketing] just a simple change of majors, because they are in the same faculty of commerce. Maybe your uni might be different to mine, but all you need is to get a form to change majors and get it approved by subject coordinator.

Yeah... it's weird, but BCom - Marketing is a different degree to BCom - Accounting. there's also a straight 'bcom' degree, too.

If I had a handbook with me, or more time, would provide a page number to back this up. Page 28 of the 2007 handbook, from memory, is the internal transfer policy, which should explain this. See also the 'degrees offered' (or something like that) section of it.

Yeah, they've got different UAC codes and thus require an internal or external transfer.

I never figured out how to find transfers in the online handbook, I always have to look on SES. =/

To transfer to BCom-Marketing, you need 12cps and a GPA of 2.5.
