dont do a movie, their too in depth to talk about and their are too many techniques, i'm doing a comic strip and a poem for related material, short and sweet
more time to ellaborate about change and techniques

you don't have to really cover techniques for related material. Isn't it just there to assist you in making your point?

films you could use
-any disney
-think of films which deal with issues such as racism and shit like that

film

American Beauty is a good one to use, as the whole movie is about the characters changing, and change being explored on different levels..

I used the Family Man with Nicolas Cage and Tea Leoni

There is an obvious change in Perspectives in that film

My friend used A Legue of their own with Geena Davis and Tom Hanks
and my other friend used the Grinch

re

hey.

I just used an old Joni MItchel song she'd just re-released and talked about the Irwin Winkler film, Life as a House, hence the logon name.
It's my fave and you can write soooooo much on it!!!
(it's not on flics anymore but is coming out on DVD and VHS on Jan 4th with "I am sam")

American History X, is not only an awesome movie but an awesome additional text, its full of techniques and has a very obvious change.

Other good ones:
Amercian Beauty
The Shawshank Redemption (Without a doubt my favourite movie of all time, everyone watch it :))

Films are easy, because one of the simplest plotlines regardless of genre is:

Person living "normally"
Something happens (this is generally the twist)
Person is forced to change their perspective (or struggle to maintain their old pov)
And the ending depends on whether the director/scriptwriter is postmodern or not.
