is ANYONE doing the texts relating to Chaucer???

I find it damn difficult and near impossible to read this stuff...even with the translation of modern english

Any info out there people???

Sometimes its easier to do it without the translations as you'll find if you don't try to rip it apart word by word, the meaning starts to soak in on its own. It also helps you familiarise yourself with the language structure since you will have to quote it as is when in exams rather than quoting translations.

Also, there is a thread here that may have some helpful content as well as some links to other threads which might be of an aid to you.

If you have any precise questions, post them up here and I'll try answering them.:)
