Where did you get the times from?

These are the only two Thursday times avaliable (according to the chem website):
CHEM1011 session 1 Thu 10:00 am - 1:00 pm TUT/LAB LAB B OR C ONE OF 9 ALTERNATE TUT/LABS AVAILABLE
CHEM1011 session 1 Thu 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm TUT/LAB LAB B OR C ONE OF 9 ALTERNATE TUT/LABS AVAILABLE

This corresponds with what myUNSW is offering.

yes.. in the website.. i can choose 10am-1pm (tut/lab)
however, in my.unsw where i choose my timetable.. i was able to choose the time of 10a,-11pm (for tutorial) but i cannot choose the time of thrusday 11am-1pm (for lab)

You've just been saying you wanted the 11 to 2 on thursday, not 10 to 1 :mad1:

Can you explain why you are not able to choose it? Any errors when you try to enroll in it?

oopss.. sorry.. my bad.. 10am-1pm...
tut + lab should = 10am~1pm
i can get my tut 10am~11am
but cant get the lab 11am~1pm
(Thursday)

ok.. this is the situation
when u visit chem.unsw site.. all the chem tut/lab are one after the other...
so? does that mean i will HAVE to choose them together???

if i HAVE to choose them one after the other, i will have to do it on the chem.unsw website on the 23rd feb (ive asked).. then that means the time on my timetable will be different to that of the chem department's

yeah.. so whats the problem?

situation 1: during enroling on myunsw all the lab/tut time for chem are seperated into 1 hour for tut and 2 hours for lab, where u can mix and match

situation 2: on the chem website they clearly dont allow this

so just wait for monday, and see what they have on their site, because that is the key/final enrolement ur gona do for chem. and if they dont allow mix and match confirmation then u need to rearrange ur timetable now. caz i cant get a definite answer from anyone.

the 10-1 times are very popular..
2 of the times are already full...
i wanted thrus 10-1.. but since its full... i have to change it.. resulting in my timetable being 7 hours monday and tues... and 3 hours thrus.. and 2 hours fri...
id rather it spaced out

or you can do it in person seeing as it's O-week

well.. ull know how popular those times are.. since they are the 1st ones to be full according to the online enrolment.. and i think people wun wana change their timetables. so they will want that time slot bad!!

One mroe thing... after u have registered your time on the chem website.. does the chem time in myunsw matter at all???

i made a trip for this... they said u get it during week 1. not sold before then apparently.

Don't worry about finishing so late because most of the labs can be completed in about 2 hours. I used to have 10-1 labs and I was always out in time to get the 12:15 bus to Central
